Surf Cup 2025 - Regulations U15 Girls

Participation category and age limits
The tournament is reserved for young female players belonging to the Under 15 category, regularly registered with their club and federation for the current season.
Under 15: Born from 01/01/2010 to 31/12/2011. Players born in 2012 are able to play if they are 12 years old.
Player lists
Participating clubs must submit to the tournament organization, before its beginning, the list of players they intend to use, up to a maximum of 35. After delivery, it is prohibited to make any modifications to these lists. In the roster to be submitted to the referee before the match, up to a maximum of 18 players shall be indicated.
Substitutions
Substitutions will be made in full compliance with the regulations set forth in C.U. No. 1 of S.G.S. Rome: all players listed must play at least one half of the two; therefore, at the end of the first half, all substitutions must be made obligatorily, and the new entrants cannot be substituted until the end of the second half except for valid health reasons.
Tournament format
The tournament is organized into two groups of three teams each. The top teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, where they will face off against each other. The winners of the semifinals will compete for 1st place, while the losers will play in the 3rd place match. The third-placed teams from each group will compete in a match to determine 5th and 6th place.
Standings
Standings will be drawn up based on the following criteria: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat.
In case of tied points, the following criteria will be applied in the order listed:
Head-to-head results
Goal difference in head-to-head matches among the tied teams
Goal difference in total matches played in the group
Higher number of goals scored in total matches played in the group
Lower number of goals conceded (against) in total matches played in the group

Match duration
Games will be played in 2 (two) 25-minute halves. The matches will be played 9 vs 9 on small-sized fields with small-sized goals and use of size 4 balls.
There will be a single referee for all matches. In case of a tie at the end of regulation time, penalty kicks will be executed.
Automatic sanctions (for fast-playing tournaments)
Automatic sanctions are provided with the following procedure: A player who is sent off during a game cannot participate in the next game unless further sanctions are imposed by the sports judge; a player who receives a second yellow card during the tournament will be suspended for one game upon declaration by the sports judge.
