Surf Cup International is expanding competition into the Mediterranean in 2024. SCI is heading to the ancient coastal city, Tangier, Morocco. The tournament will take place August 1-4, 2024 at the Grand Stade de Tanger and Tanger City Sports Complex. The tournament is open to U13, U15, & U17 Boys and U15 & U17 Girls. 

In recent years Morocco has proven itself in the international realm. In 2022, the Moroccan Men’s National Team reached the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, making them the first African Nation to ever reach the semifinals of the World Cup. This year at the Women’s FIFA World Cup, the Moroccan women’s team made history in their first ever appearance at the tournament. They qualified for the round of 16 and lost in a tough game against France. 

The competitive local football scene, along with a fantastic exotic location in the Morocco’s sun-kissed Mediterranean Coast, is the ideal set for a unique, culture-rich and competition-driven experience.
