The Surf Cup International once again set the stage for an incredible display of soccer talent and cultural exchange, taking place on the picturesque Costa Daurada. Over 180 teams from 26 countries and six continents participated, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of competition and camaraderie.
“Our goal is to connect players globally through the game of football,” shared Tommaso Trevisan, Tournament Director. This mission was fully realized as teams from diverse backgrounds came together to compete, share experiences, and celebrate their shared love for the game.
While soccer was the main attraction, teams were treated to a variety of extracurricular activities that showcased the vibrant culture of the region. Players and their families explored PortAventura Park, indulged in wine tasting tours, and participated in world-class clinics at the International Development Academy or with FC Barcelona. The excitement continued as over 700 attendees had the opportunity to watch FC Barcelona compete in the UEFA Champions League.
The event kicked off with an action-packed opening ceremony, setting the tone for four days of thrilling matches. Teams battled for supremacy in their respective divisions, with champions crowned across multiple age groups.
Surf Cup International in Costa Daurada proved to be more than just a soccer tournament. It was a celebration of sport, culture, and global unity, leaving participants with lasting memories both on and off the field. Congratulations to all the champions, MVPs, and everyone who took part in making this event a resounding success!
